Assessment of fatness of cattle and detection of tympany
The system automatically assesses body condition from three angles and identifies cases of tympany.
Assessment angles
The dorsal view is also used to detect tympany by comparing the distances between the spine and the left and right edges of the animal's body.
Detection of tympany
Key points for calculating the fatness score according to the international 5-point methodology are indicated on each angle.
Hook bones, sciatic tubercles, hip joints, wide pelvic ligament, lumbar region
View dorsally

Spinous and transverse processes of the lumbar vertebrae, a line from the hook bones to the hip joint and sciatic bumps

Condition assessment
Based on the data obtained, the body condition is calculated using an internal scale and tympany is identified.
Algorithms track key points and analyze limb movement.
The system detects an animal in the frame and highlights it.
